A Saturday morning session of Dru Yoga session to inspire a new way of looking after your brain health.

Join us for a stimulating and relaxing morning, focusing on effective ways of enhancing your brain health. 

Memory loss need not be a part of the ageing process if we are committed to caring for our body and brain.    

In this session you will learn:

  • Four of the most important yoga postures for enhancing brain health.
  • Two ancient Pranayama (breathing) techniques that work specifically with improving memory.
  • Why isometric movement is so important for a healthy brain.
  • How to optimise your sleep by learning how to effectively clear any debris of the day and prepare fully for sleep.
  • How to keep a health journal to boost your determination to stay on track

If you are a member of the Dru Professional Network you will be able to accrue 2 CPD hours for attendance at this workshop. Attendees from other yoga schools will need to check individually for their own CPD credits.

How to prepare

It's important to give yourself a clear, uninterrupted space for this special time! It's always tempting to do several things at once when you're by a screen - but we highly recommend that in this case, you create time for yourself. 

You will need:

- your yoga mat and a drink to keep you hydrated

- a meditation cushion

- a blanket to keep you warm during relaxation

- a notebook to write down any realisations
